The Drake is a type of Wanzer mostly featured in Front Mission 3. It is produced by the U.C.S. company called Diable Avionics. The wanzer is exclusively available for Emma's storyline (both in being obtained/captured and parts being purchased in the market).

  • In Front Mission 3: The Drake is characterized by superior damage/defense class upgrades and good accuracy. However, it suffers on the durability (hit-point pool) department along with low movement and poor evasion.
    • The body chassis has great damage class modifier upgrades (Def-C or Damage Class Modifier Upgrade; to reduce damage from either impact, piercing, or fire type damage specifically by a certain percent). However, the durability of the body is the one of the lowest even when just compared to other wanzers of similar weight-power ratio and role.
    • The arms have poor durability but good accuracy upgrades.
    • The legs are not very durable, mobile, or evasive which is a pretty common attribute for launcher type wanzer legs.

Known PilotsEdit

  • In Front Mission 3, battle skills are learned by equipping specific wanzer parts. When equipped, Drake M2C gives:
    • Chaff (Body) - When attacked by an enemy using missiles, the triggering of the battle skill will prevent the missile from hitting the wanzer.
    • Pilot DMGI (Arms) - If the battle skill activates, a small amount of damage will be caused directly to the pilot.
      • Killing the pilot is a great way to capture a wanzer. In addition, the player can use (eject and board) an unmanned wanzer during battle.
      • Piercing damage will cause the most damage to the pilot (rifle, machine gun, spike); however, it will still need at least three Pilot Damage I triggers to kill the pilot.
      • If any of the Pilot DMG type battle skill triggers, then the enemy pilot will lose health so as long at least 1 shot hits the wanzer.
      • Pilot Damage does not seem to trigger if the enemy is using a shield to block your attack. (unconfirmed)
    • EXPx2 (Legs) - After taking action and this skill activates, the experience earned for that turn is multiplied by two.
