The Shunyo (Japanese: 春陽, roughly "Spring Sun") is a wanzer model that appeared in Front Mission 3. It is produced by Kirishima Industry of O.C.U. Japan. The main protagonist and Ryogo Kusama are both seen piloting this wanzer under an assault configuration when they worked for Kirishima Industry.

In Front Mission 3: Shunyo is characterized by good accuracy and evasion but with below average durability (hit point pool).
- The body chassis, is one of the more durable ones of its weight class, but lacks good Def-C/Damage Class Modifier upgrades (Def-C or Damage Class Modifier Upgrade; to reduce damage from either impact, piercing, or fire type damage specifically by a certain percent).
- The arms are not very durable but has great base and upgraded accuracy values.
- The legs are not very durable, but has excellent evasion upgrades.

Trivia[]
- In Front Mission 3, battle skills are learned by equipping specific wanzer parts. When equipped, the Shunyo Mk111 gives:
- DmgFix400 (Body) - This battle skill may activate when the enemy wanzer inflicts between 401 and 800 points of damage. The damage will be reduced to 400 instead.
- Revenge-Same (Arms) - The battle skill may activate when the enemy wanzer attacks and destroys a part on the wanzer. In retaliation, the wanzer will break the same part on the attacking wanzer.
- AP-60% (Legs) - When the battle skill activates, the Action Point (AP) cost for that wanzer's turn will be reduced by 60%.
- Tips on acquiring this wanzer:
- Use Eject Punch Skill ( Tiandong 3 arm); after ejecting enemy pilot, quickly kill enemy pilot with machine gun or shotgun.
- Equip your ranged (rifle, missile, etc.) wanzer pilots with pilot killing skills such as Pilot Damage 1 (Drake M2C arm), Pilot Damage 2 ( Laiying 1 arm), or Pilot Damage 3 (Genie arm). The death of the pilot leaves the wanzer inert and intact.
- If enemy wanzer gets severely damaged, the enemy pilot has chance to surrender. A blinking white flag will appear, and the next non-lethal damage sustained will trigger the enemy to surrender.
